Pink & Pearls for a Purpose began as a spark - a quiet idea that maybe, just maybe, a room full of people could change the trajectory of families living through the darkest chapters of their lives. It was never about champagne. It was never about looking pretty in pearls. It was about creating impact for those who don’t get to take ordinary days for granted.
In 2025, that spark became a force.
An unstoppable, generous, heart-driven force that raised $104,000 for Hummingbird House, Queensland’s only children’s hospice, and the last safe harbour for families walking the hardest road a parent can face. Every seat filled, every hand raised, every tear shed… it all meant something. Because behind every ticket is a family learning to cherish hours instead of years. Behind every donation is a child whose smile has survived more than most adults ever will. Behind every moment at this event is the reminder that life is precious, unpredictable, and heartbreakingly fragile.
Hummingbird House is not a hospital. It is a sanctuary.
A warm meal shared with trembling hands.

On 28 August at 11:30am, the marquee at Victoria Park will fill again - wearing pink and pearls, and with people who refuse to look away. People ready to stand with families who need love, stability, laughter and light in the moments that matter most.
Because every laugh in that room becomes a moment of joy for a child.
Every auction bid becomes a hot meal for a weary family.
Every sponsorship becomes a lifeline for a parent trying to hold it together.
Every pearl becomes a symbol of hope.

All funds raised will help provide nourishing meals for children and families staying at Hummingbird House, and help upgrade much needed medical equipment.
